I was installing a new door lock, and figured i would show you guys the junk hardware it came with, and the mans hardware i use instead. To recap; Strike plate uses at least 2.5' #8's, and ideally at least number 10. number 12 is nice, but doesn't always fit into the hardware they give. If you cant use 2' #8s in the door latch screws, always use at least a number 10s...
